FEATURED LODGES OF NAMIBRAND

KWESSI DUNES
With its rolling desert plains and backdrop of craggy mountains and iconic red dunes, it’s not about chasing big game but rather soaking up the beauty of the colourful landscape and its desert adapted wildlife. Each chalet has a separate ‘star gazer’ room, completely open to the sky. There is plenty to do with (eco-sensitive) quad biking, scenic drives and walks, hot air ballooning, helicopter flights, horse riding and day trips to Sossusvlei which lies just North.

WOLWEDANS BOULDERS SAFARI CAMP
The core objective of Wolwedans Collection is to support the NamibRand Nature Reserve in its mission to safeguard and restore the ecosystem. Scenic drives offer guests the chance to learn about desert dwellers and their quest for survival, the fascinating flora and geology. Our favourite is Boulders Safari Camp, with just 5 rooms, set amongst massive granite boulders in the remote southern section. Wolwedans is a LONG RUN certified Global Ecosphere Retreat®, this is one of the most rigorous sustainability standards in tourism. As a LONG RUN member we work in partnership with Global Ecosphere Retreats® in using travel as a force for good.

SOUSSUSVLEI DESERT LODGE
Offering perhaps the most beautiful view in Namibia, the lodge is situated within &Beyond Sossusvlei Private Desert Reserve, a vast 12 715 hectare expanse deep in the Namib. Each spacious air conditioned suite offers a secluded, shaded veranda with private plunge pool, a living room with a fireplace, a large skylight above the bed, and a glass-encased rain shower offering 180º desert views.
