Vamizi Island
WHY VISIT VAMIZI ISLAND
In 1891, a British-run consortium took control of the northern part of Mozambique and deemed the island of no strategic or commercial interest. For the next 100 years the island remained isolated and undeveloped – allowing the wildlife to flourish, undisturbed by human impact.
Hailed as one of the world’s best diving destinations with Neptune’s Arm dive site taking pride of place.
A wonderful selection of tailormade adventures.
Just six private beach villas that are individually decorated to offer guests their own slice of paradise. Each villa has its own butler, chef, housekeeper and villa host.

FEATURED LODGES
&BEYOND VAMIZI TARTARUGA
Protected from development, by 15 years of civil war and a turbulent history, the far-flung northern reaches of Mozambique have remained relatively untouched by tourism with an almost insignificant sprinkling of lodges in the vast Quirimbas Archipelago. Vamizi is so secluded that you would be lucky to see a boat sail by.
