WHEN TO VISIT IGUAZÚ FALLS

The falls are truly spectacular year-round and the weather is typically pleasant, the main consideration that could put a damper on things is rain.

The summer months are especially rainy, humid and hot with water levels at their highest.

This is also a busy time for tourism.

These months form the transition period between the wet summer and the dry season.

Clear skies and comfortable weather is typical of this time, but it may rain.

The park is not generally crowded.

There is less risk of rain over this time and temperatures are comfortable.

Water levels are not at their peak but being able to view some of the rock faces between the water is impressive.

This time is less crowded (except over Easter).
