Danum Valley (Borneo) – September 2017

Simon has just returned from an epic expedition to Borneo including quality time spent in Danum Valley. This is arguably the most pristine tract of lowland rainforest in South-East Asia and amongst the oldest tropical forests on Earth. Here rainforest mammals such as Orangutan, Bornean Pygmy Elephant and the elusive Clouded Leopard roam alongside a host of pittas, broadbills and other avian jewels.

WHY WE LOVE DANUM VALLEY

A prime location to see Orangutan in the wild.

Excellent rainforest lodgings.

Impressive canopy walkways.

Some of the world’s tallest tropical trees, a magestic site to behold.

Avian jewels such as the Great Argus, pittas, trogons, broadbills and a myriad of hornbills to name a few.

If you would like to explore Borneo with us please don’t hesitate to contact us – we would love to assist in setting up the wildlife journey of your dreams.
