Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is famed as one of the last remaining strongholds for the critically endangered Mountain Gorilla. These gentle giants are unable to survive in captivity and exist only in the wild – making any sighting a privilege. Ecotourists play a vital role in protecting the park and the great apes that call Bwindi home. These misty forest-clad volcanic hills are simply a pleasure for any intrepid naturalist to spend time in!!!
